Bill and the Team

Oakley Restoration & Finishing, llc has evolved over 20 years from Bill Oakley’s first antique furniture restoration business, Phoenix Restoration, which was based in Brooklyn, New York.

After relocating in 1994 to Litchfield County in NW Connecticut, Bill doubled the company’s size and expanded to a two man shop.  Over the years he continued to grow the business, and Oakley now employs 3 full-time Restoration Artisans in addition to himself.

Even though the workshop is located in New Milford, Connecticut and serves towns throughout Litchfield County such as Washington, Roxbury, Woodbury, Sherman, Kent and many others, Oakley Restoration also serves all of Fairfield  County and has many satisfied, repeat customers in towns along the coast such as Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, Rowayton, Norwalk, Westport, Southport and Fairfield. We are also well known in the rest of the county, working with customers in New Canaan, Wilton, Ridgefield, Weston, Easton, Danbury and Brookfield. So no matter where you live or what t entails, we can get to you and get it done. We’ll “bring back the beauty” to all your cherished furniture and keep it that way for years to come!
