Here is a missing toe section on a mahogany “hairy paw” foot. Now a piece of mahogany is glued on and ready to carve. Here’s the first bit of coloring to blend it with the original finish. Adding a little red dye stain to get closer to the mahogany color…then the final shellac finish is applied. Here is the final finish showing a great match!
